French Tower Clock
Pin Wheel Escapement with French Striking. c1884.
Here are some pictures of the unrestored French Tower Clock movement:
Known for the big restoration. With the help of family and friends and 8 weeks of hard work.
The work begins with a strong stand made of recycled timber. Then stained to look old.
All the grime was stripped off the base and sides places, then painted black and all the gold deails was done.
All the steel had rust removed and polished. Brass wheels were also polished.
